For fans of: Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver and Ben Howard

Experimental singer-songwriter and producer Joshua Burnside from Northern Ireland draws inspiration from alternative electronica and Irish folk, colouring it with an eclectic mix of sounds.

Joshua Burnside's music goes against the grain, both in style and spirit. He proved this both with his award-winning debut album Ephrata, and its acclaimed follow-up Into The Depths Of Hell, released during the corona pandemic. Raised between the hills of Strangford Lough and the narrow alleys of East Belfast, Burnside finds his themes in the traumas of a society that has been consumed by (political) tensions for decades.

In AMOR, Joshua Burnside draws inspiration from his third album Teeth Of Time. There he takes the quieter path of indie folk and follows the trail of folk celebrities such as Bon Iver, Ben Howard and Sufjan Stevens.
