Souad Massi will be returning to De Roma in the spring of 2027. Anyone who witnessed her previous performances at our venue in Borgerhout will no doubt still remember how she captivated the entire audience with her virtuoso guitar playing, warm voice and rock-solid band. We are delighted to welcome this exceptional artist back once again.

Drawing on her Algerian roots, Souad Massi has created a unique musical universe in which Arabic, Berber, folk, rock, flamenco and fado influences blend effortlessly. Her songs exude freedom, poetry and commitment, whilst her band provides a rich palette of sounds with influences from North Africa, Andalusia and Latin America. No wonder she has become one of the most beloved voices in world music.

Internationally, Massi is acclaimed for her uncompromising artistic journey and her ability to bring tradition and innovation together. Having been honoured with awards including a Victoire de la Musique and the prestigious German Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik, she continues to explore new musical horizons.

This new tour coincides with the release of her forthcoming album, with which she pushes the boundaries of both her musical universe and her commitment. Always in search of new horizons, she enriches her music with fresh influences and an even broader sonic palette.
