The Scabs return to De Roma. A welcome reunion, as it has been since 2019 that the legendary Belgian rock band last took the stage in Borgerhout. On Thursday, June 10, 2027, Guy Swinnen and his bandmates will write a new chapter in a story that has been unfolding for almost half a century.

What started at youth club De Boemel in Scherpenheuvel grew into one of the greatest success stories in Belgian rock history. With classics such as So Called Friends, Stay, Hard Times, Robbin' the Liquor Store, She's Jivin' and Turn It Up, The Scabs built a catalogue that continues to connect generations of music lovers.

Their last appearance at De Roma was part of the successful 40 Years Tour, which included dozens of sold-out concerts and culminated in a Lifetime Achievement Award at the MIA Music Awards. Shortly afterwards, the band had to say goodbye to guitarist Willy Willy, a loss that resonated deeply throughout the Belgian music scene.

But like a phoenix rising from the ashes, The Scabs found their way back to the stage. With guitarist Fabio Canini joining the ranks and a renewed passion for performing, The Phoenix Tour proved that the band remains as relevant, energetic and compelling as ever.

Expect an evening filled with timeless songs, indestructible rock 'n' roll, and a band that knows better than anyone how to captivate an audience. The Scabs are back in Borgerhout. And it feels as if they never left.
