Between the 25-year Yevgueni anniversary year and the next planned Yevgueni album, there will be exactly one year. The year 2026, coincidentally the year in which frontman and songwriter Klaas Delrue turns 50. And—among other reasons—also a year in which he wants to make his solo voice heard once again.

In March 2026, the Dutch-language solo album Tijd voor mij (“Time for Me”) will be released. It will be a “small record” on which Klaas very deliberately brings out the singer-songwriter and the “bedroom-singer” within himself. Think of intimate, fragile, delicate songs like those occasionally heard on a Yevgueni album or during a performance. But this time recorded solo, played and performed by himself. An album that will be expertly and soberly produced by Willem Ardui.
