Busy times for Warhaus. After two sold-out shows at Ancienne Belgique, a tour of Europe and a passage at Rock Werchter this summer, Maarten Devoldere is all set to set De Roma ablaze at the end of this year.
The story of Warhaus began in 2016. At the time, Maarten Devoldere, frontman of Balthazar, delivered one of the most impressive albums of the year: We Fucked a Flame Into Being. The self-titled follow-up, including instant-classics Love's a Stranger and Ha Ha Heartbreak were also a hit.
In November 2024, Warhaus released its latest album Karaoke Moon, the result of nine months of work with regular producer Jasper Maekelberg. Filled with clever, and often humorous, contrasts, Karaoke Moon is an album that explores new dimensions with every listening session, taking the listener layer by layer, line by line, into Warhaus' unique universe. A universe you can (re)discover live at De Roma this autumn!
