Wahwahsda began in 2008 as a spontaneous collaboration between Wally and Sput, and grew into a unique voice within the Belgian music scene. Their first album, Shiva Regal, emerged from a garage in Wilrijk – a DIY project blending reggae, hip-hop, and Antwerp-style freestyle. The raw energy and sincere lyrics struck a chord, and soon they were performing with a full live band.

Their mix of English reggae and Dutch rap brought them to stages like Dour Festival, Gentse Feesten, and opening slots for reggae icons such as Ky-mani Marley, Groundation, and Steel Pulse. In 2011, they won the Benelux Reggae Contest, marking a milestone that led to their second album, Radio Rum.

After a break, Wahwahsda returned in 2022 with the single Lost & Found, a musical statement reaffirming their renewed passion. The band consists of five friends from the outskirts of Antwerp, each with their own musical background, united by a shared passion for rhythm, awareness, and improvisation.
